Existing networks, especially MARS (the Network of European Marine Stations),will serve as the backbone of the Concerted Action since the member institutes already cover most of Europe’s coasts, but the network is open to all interested parties.

Through MARS, a questionnaire outlining the research capabilitites of each station was made.

Below are the provisional results from the MARS questionnaire sent out to participating institutes.  Please download the Microsoft Access databse to check your institute to details.  The aim is to provide a provisional listing for all MARS and BIOMARE institutes.
